Discover the experience

From quiet stretches of deeper water to moving channels and rapids, Dimalachite offers more than one way to cast a line. Fish from your campsite, explore with your inflatable boat or canoe and target the species you want, or book a guided fishing trip. With deep holes scattered along the riverbank, this is an excellent opportunity to hook a trophy fish. Largemouth yellowfish of up to 12 kg have been caught and released here, and beautiful smallmouth yellowfish are landed regularly. Common and mirror carp of up to 15 kg frequently take the bait, along with large grass carp. For anglers who enjoy powerful fish, mudfish of around 3 kg and barbel of up to 20 kg often make the reels sing.

Fish from camp

Book a dedicated fishing stand if you want to fish directly from your campsite. Not every riverfront stand is suitable for angling.

Staying in a lodge or tent?

Shared fishing sites are available to accommodation guests, subject to availability. Ask about reserving a private fishing site at an additional cost.

Guided fishing tours

The best option if you want to improve your chances of getting a few fish on the line. All equipment is supplied, and your guide helps with rigging and supports you throughout the session. Morning and afternoon sessions are available. It is a family experience and no previous fishing experience is needed.

Look after the catch
